Most of the main film awards take place during January and February, with the Oscars sometimes pushing into March. At mfiles we take an understandable interest in the film music categories, and the Season kicks off as usual with the Golden Globes. The nominations for the 76th Golden Globes were announced on December 6th 2018, and the winners (listed first) were presented on January 6th 2019. In the Music categories these were:
