Golden Globe Awards 2016 (for 2015 Films)

Most of the main film awards take place during January and February. At mfiles we take an understandable interest in the film music categories, and the Season kicks off as usual with the Golden Globes. The nominations for the 73rd Golden Globes were announced on December 10th 2015, and the winners (listed first) were presented on January 10th 2016. In the Music categories these were:

BAFTA Awards 2016 (for 2015 Films)

Nominations for the 69th BAFTA film awards were confirmed on January 8th, and the winner (listed first) presented at the awards ceremony on Sunday February 14th:

BAFTA do not have a Song Category. However the BAFTA Video Game awards are a separate event and the winners for these awards were presented on 7th April. "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" also won the "Audio Achievement" category:
