The Season of major film awards kicks off as usual with the Golden Globes. The nominations for the Music Categories of the 70th Golden Globes were announced on December 13th 2012, and the winners (listed first) were presented on January 13th 2013:

BAFTA Awards 2013 (for 2012 Films)

The BAFTA film nominations were confirmed on January 9th, and the winner was presented at the awards ceremony on Sunday February 10th

BAFTA do not have a Song Category. However the BAFTA video game awards are a separate event held a few weeks after the film awards.

The BAFTA Game nominations were announced on February 22nd, and the winners were presented at the awards ceremony on Tuesday March 5th 2013.
