Like his earlier Bethena, Pleasant Moments is a Ragtime Waltz. Although most piano rags have 2 or 4 beats in a bar, Scott Joplin and other ragtime composers created a number of Ragtime Waltzes. Pleasant Moments was first published in 1909 by Seminary, and it was recently heard on the TV series "Downton Abbey".
