Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata is his Piano Sonata No.14 in C-sharp minor, and its first movement is very famous. To arrange it for guitar (under the Spanish title "Claro de Luna") composer Francisco Tárrega transposed the music to D minor, and you should tune your guitar's low E-string to D.
