The Dolly Suite Op.56 was composed by the French composer Gabriel Fauré. It was named after the daughter of a friend whose nickname was "Dolly", and as you might imagine the music and movement titles are suitably child-friendly. The original version of this suite is for Piano Duet. This arrangement however is for piano solo, so it is for 2 hands rather than 4. On mfiles here is the original version Dolly: Berceuse - Piano Duet and here is another arrangement Dolly: Berceuse - for oboe or flute and piano (with alternative solo parts for clarinet or trumpet, french horn, violin, viola, alto sax, bassoon or cello).
