"Baa Baa Black Sheep" is a well-known and well-loved Nursery Rhyme. The rhyme can help to teach the youngest children the noise that sheep make, and how to count to three. The melody is very similar to that of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and is probably just a variant which has been adapted to fit different words. There is an opera called "Baa Baa Black Sheep by the British composer Michael Berkeley (who has now become a Lord), and the traditional melody for "Baa Baa Black Sheep" was also woven into the song "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye.
