Links from mfiles - our linking policy:

At mfiles we receive many link requests every day. The vast majority of these requests are not suitable and are rejected. In the interests of making our policy clear to genuine link requests, here are some guidelines for requesting a link:

You must have a good quality site with content which is useful and relevant to our visitors
Ideally your site should be well-established, with lots of interesting music-related content
Your site must be suitable for visitors of all ages located globally
Your site should be well-designed with an obvious path leading to your links page

The following types of request are likely to be rejected:

Your site is not related to music or entertainment
Your site is "under development" or has limited, inadequate or unoriginal content
Your email requesting a link is computer generated
You are only interested in page-rank, want 3-way links, etc.
Your own linking policy is based on quantity rather than quality
You outsource your site links to a 3rd Party (e.g. SEO company)
Your links page links to wholly unrelated or inappropriate content
You haven't told us the URL of your links page
Your links page is an orphan page or requires several clicks to reach it from your home page
Your site provides services to a limited geographic area

Linking to mfiles:

Even if we can't always agree to a link exchange, we still welcome links from other sites as it helps to more people to know about mfiles. A simple text link is ideal or feel free to add graphics from our selection of banners, logos and buttons below. Link to our home page, any of the main sections or single HTML page, but please don't deep link directly to our mp3 sound files or pdf sheet music - this steals our bandwidth without giving us any real visitors! We do currently allow linking to our midi files since they are quite small, but please add a credit with a text link such as the following html: "music from <a href="https://www.mfiles.co.uk">mfiles</a>".
