"Tom, Tom the Piper's Son" is another traditional Nursery Rhyme. The rhyme suggests a Scottish origin since it mentions a Piper and its rhythm is similar to some Scottish folk songs. However pipes and bagpipes have been common across much of Europe, and the rhyme's origin is unknown.
