Three Craws: a children's song from Scotland - Sheet Music, midi & mp3

On the surface "Three Craws" (meaning "Three Crows") seems like a simple counting song, but its character is more like a humorous playground song. There are a number of variations of the lyrics, but they are typically in the Scots dialect which gives plenty of scope for unusual rhymes. It is possible that the song arose as part of the Scottish contribution to Music Hall, which included comedians and singers such as Harry Lauder. The melody for the song follows the same pattern as Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush and The Wheels on the Bus.
