Ring a Ring o' Roses: a traditional Nursery Rhyme - Sheet Music, midi & mp3 files

Children dancing in a ring "Ring a Ring o' Roses" is a Nursery Rhyme for children, which is traditional sung with actions which effectively make it the first dance that many children learn. The actions start with children holding hands in a ring while walking or skipping in a circl. At the appropriate moment the children fall down. In some areas another verse of the song is sung which goes "Down at the bottom of the deep blue sea, Catching fishes for Daddy's tea, A-one, a-two, a-three!" whereupon the children get up from the floor to sing the first version again. The beginning of this melody is very similar to the Lullaby Bye, Baby Bunting and there are similarities with See Saw Margery Daw. The Rhyme was referenced by Robbie Williams in his song "Candy".
