"O Valiant Hearts" is a hymn written to honour the fallen from WWI, and traditionally sung on Remembrance Day and other occasions paying tribute to those killed during wars and conflicts. The words come from a poem by Sir John Stanhope Arkwright (1872-1954) and they are usually sung to the hymn tune "The Supreme Sacrifice" composed by Rev. Dr. Charles Harris (1865-1936). There are other versions of the hymn by Ralph Vaughan-Williams and by Gustav Holst.
