J. S. Bach : Fugue in G minor BWV 578 (String or Woodwind Quartet):

Bach composed a number of stand-alone fugues for Organ, and this one in G minor is one of the most famous. It was used several times in the movie "Glass Onion" serving as the film's alternative main theme. The fugue is catalogued as BWV 578 and sometimes referred to as the "Little Fugue" to distinguish it from other fugues in G minor. The fugue is in 4 parts (or voices) which lends itself to playing it using a quartet of instruments. This version adapts the fugue for a Quartet of related instruments. It is illustrated here by a String Quartet (2 violins, viola and cello) but we also include score and parts for a Woodwind Quartet (flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon).

On mfiles we have the original version of this so-called 'Little' Fugue in Gm for Organ, an arrangement for generic 4 voices or parts, and an arrangement for piano solo.
