Vivaldi's L'estro armonico Concerto No.11 in Dm, 2nd movement for Piano by Nemerovsky

L'estro armonico (meaning "The Harmonic Inspiration") is a set of Concertos (Op.3) by Antonio Vivaldi. The set were published in Amsterdam in 1711. They were the first of the composer's concertos to be published and became very well known and influential across much of Europe. Among other keyboard arrangements, Bach transcribed Vivaldi's 11th Concerto in D minor for Organ, and it looks as though the Russian composer Aleksandr Nemerovsky may have based his Piano arrangement on Bach's Organ version. We present here the slow movement of this concerto, marked "Largo e Spiccato". The video below shows this movement from Nemerovsky's arrangement. In addition you can also find links below for audio file downloads and the piano sheet music.

On mfiles we also have this movement as Vivaldi's original version, as well as Bach's version for Organ, and our own arrangement for Violin and Piano.
