Golden Globe Awards 2019 (for 2018 Films)

Most of the main film awards take place during January and February, with the Oscars sometimes pushing into March. At mfiles we take an understandable interest in the film music categories, and the Season kicks off as usual with the Golden Globes. The nominations for the 76th Golden Globes were announced on December 6th 2018, and the winners (listed first) were presented on January 6th 2019. In the Music categories these were:

BAFTA Awards 2019 (for 2018 Films)

Nominations for the 72nd BAFTA film awards were announced on January 9th 2019, and the winners will be presented at the awards ceremony on Sunday February 11th:

BAFTA does not have a Song Category. However the BAFTA Video Game awards and the BAFTA Television Craft awards are separate events taking place every year. The nominations for the Video Game awards were released on March 14th as follows and the winners (listed first) announced at the awards ceremony on April 4th:
