I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside - piano/vocal sheet music, midi & mp3

I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside by John H. Glover-Kind - sheet music cover "I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside" is a song which first became popular in British Music Halls. It was written in 1907 by John H. Glover-Kind (1880-1918) though he is sometimes listed as "John A. Glover-Kind". It was initially sung by the comedian/singer Mark Sheridan (1864-1918) but was picked up later by many other artists. It's happy memorable lyrics about visits to the seaside has made the popular long after the decline of Music Halls. The song is almost a signature tune of many seaside resorts across the UK, so you can expect to hear it (often played as an instrumental on a Theatre Organ) on piers or fairs and in theatre shows at Blackpool and many other popular locations. For the mp3 file (which you can download from left-hand menu) we have used a theatre organ sound since that is typically how you will hear the song today.

Also available from the left-hand menu is our piano/vocal sheet music for "I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside" including lyrics, as arranged by Jim Paterson, or the corresponding midi file.
