Edvard Grieg : Arietta (Op.12 No.1) from the "Lyric Pieces"

"Arietta" is the first of many piano pieces by Edvard Grieg from the collection known as the "Lyric Pieces". Many classical piano students will come across the "Lyric Pieces" in the course of there studies and find little challenges to help improve their technique. While this piece looks deceptively simple, the challenge is to get good phrasing in all the voices to make the overall piece "lyrical".
