Go Tell It On The Mountain (arranged for various instruments)

"Go, Tell It On The Mountain" is one of many African American songs that became popular when arranged by the Work family and performed by the Fisk Jubilee Singers, who toured the world singing spirituals and gospel music. It has been performed and recorded by many artists and groups since then. The song is a Christmas Carol since the lyrics refer to events related to the birth of Jesus Christ. This arrangement can be played by a range of different solo instruments with piano accompaniment. Here are parts for Instruments in C (treble clef) e.g. Oboe, High Instruments in C e.g. Flute, Piccolo, Low Instruments in C (bass clef) e.g. Bassoon, Cello, Instruments in Bb (e.g. Clarinet or Trumpet), Alto Saxophone in Eb, Instruments in F (e.g. French Horn or Cor Anglais), Viola (alto clef) and here is the Piano Accompaniment (including guitar chords).

On mfiles there is also an interesting arrangement for solo guitar by Glenn Jarrett, and a version for piano solo by Jim Paterson.
