Peter Tchaikovsky : "Waltz" from the "Album for the Young" Op.38 for piano

As well as a wide range of Ballet music and orchestral works including Symphonies and Concertos, Tchaikovsky wrote a number of shorter works for the Piano. The "Album for the Young" is a set of 24 short but interesting and tuneful pieces for the piano student. Tchaikovsky was also adept at writing flowing waltz music which he often incorporated into his ballet music and even into his symphonies. We have therefore chosen the Waltz as a good example from the "Album for the Young" collection. It is No.8 of the set of 24.
