Oscar Awards for 2006

Below are the winners and nominations for the music categories, as presented on Sunday February 25th 2007. In addition to these, Ennio Morricone received an honorary award for his contribution to film music. Morricone has had a total of 5 nominations for “Days of Heaven” (1978), “The Mission” (1986), “The Untouchables” (1987), “Bugsy” (1991) and “Malèna” (2000), but has not yet won the winner's statuette.
