Our aim is to make navigation throughout the site as simple as possible, whilst catering for the different interests of our visitors. The general navigation principle is first of all to select the major section which interests you from the menu bar along the top of the screen. The sections are Home, Classical, Other Styles, Original, Sheet Music, MIDI, MP3, Film Music, Composers and Reviews. For convenience, each section has its own home-page which outlines the latest additions to that particular section which you can click on directly. Alternatively select a sub-section which interests you from the sub-menu on the left-hand side. From the resulting page you can then choose a particular piece of music, composer or article of interest.
There is often more than one way to reach the same page, e.g. Main-menu "Classical", Sub-menu "MIDI" has the same information as Main-menu "MIDI", Sub-menu "Classical". Another feature to make things easy to find is that mfiles makes extensive use of hyperlinks, cross-linkages between related topics such as between composers and their music, or between related composers. All internal and external links are displayed in Red so they should be obvious. The map below is a complete set of Main-menu and Sub-menu options to help you navigate to the information you want:
